Marlon Brando was born in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Lived on infamous "Bad Boy Drive" (Muholland Drive in Beverly Hills, California), which received its nickname because its residents were famous "bad boy" actors Jack Nicholson, Warren Beatty and Brando. Director Francis Ford Coppola wanted him to appear as Preston Tucker in his bioepic of the maverick automotive executive that he planned on making after he completed The Godfather: Part II (1974). He was not interested but did appear in Apocalypse Now (1979), the film Coppola actually did make after finishing The Godfather (1972) sequel. When Coppola finally got around to making the film Tucker: The Man and His Dream (1988), he cast Jeff Bridges in the role.
